Red Tag Crazy. It has become, to many of us, more than just the ultimate place to shop (which it is). It has become a social site, a place to meet and learn about people all over the world. A place where we can be accepted for the women we are, cheap mac makeup, as we are, where we can get comfort and advice and a laugh when we need it. It is not just “a” place, it is “the” place to be.

And because many of us have become such good friends, we thought it would be fun to have an informal get-together, to meet in person and put faces with names. I’ll give credit where credit is due….the props go to CJV2003 (another D.C. area lady) for this idea and for the fabulous location ($5 Pisco Sours!). So I’m shouting out to all of you RTCers in the DC area, if you want to come, please let me know so we can get an idea of the number of heads (guests are welcome; I’m bringing the hubby) we should nab space for (my email addy is kristen@sipaday.com). The information is below.

The choice of location isn’t exclusionary. I just don’t have the ability to set up something in other cities – although I do wish I could be at each and every one of them or that everyone could be here! But hey, maybe if RTC gets big enough, we can have an annual convention some day (see? big faith for the RTC founders’ humongous success). In the meantime, this is why it’s (obviously) unofficial. Hopefully we’re lighting a torch that will catch on around the country (and in Europe, mac makeup wholesale, Aase?).

Fellow RTC-Washingtonians….Hope to see you there, mac makeup!

RTC Inspired Fashion Part 1 redtagcrazy.com blog

redtagcrazy.com

current sale alerts blog my account

Hi everyone!

It has been a very long time since I have written a blog here on RTC but I thought it was time to change that with a new little blog series I thought I’d start! “RTC inspired fashion”

A few months ago, wholesale mac makeup, April 23-26 to be exact, cheap mac makeup, I went visiting Las Vegas like usual but this was no ordinary trip…oh no this time I was there to see BRITNEY SPEARS in concert!! Now I know many have their mixed feelings on Britney and although she went through that “what were you thinking?!” phase, I still am team Britney all the way. Now let me tell you, the concert was a blast! I loved every minute of it. Everything from the Britney look a likes in the audience (there were many MANY girls dressed up in their favorite Britney get ups!), to the awesome circus entertainers she had on stage before the concert began, to the opening act…(I mean the Pussycat Dolls…How could you go wrong with that?!).

The whole concert was non-stop fun but what intrigued me the most was the great wardrobe she wore throughout the concert. There were many wardrobe changes and I found myself relating all her outfits to RTC. Call it the loud music, mac makeup wholesale, the flashing colorful lights of this “circus,” or the fact that I had just been on RTC a few minutes before the concert but the truth is I could not help tying the two together. Now the Circus tour has added a few more dates as it comes to its end and here are a few ideas of how you can get into the spirit of things with your very own RTC items!

Let’s begin with a promo pic of Britney that kicked off the tour:

RTC inspired pieces…

• LinQ Striped Shirred Tank
• C&C California Tie Dye Striped Tank

…just pair any of these two with your favorite high waisted skirt or one of those great corset belts and viola!

Next Up: The ringmaster!

And then later…

RTC inspired pieces…
• Morphine Generation Sailor Shorts
• Erik Hart Liquid Metallic Racer Back Dress…not exactly right on the money but the metallic aspect of the dress definitely relates to her outfit

Next: This military-esque outfit

Inspired pieces…
• Zlush Embroidered Camo Jacket…gives you the same tough but sexy look she was going for
• Zlush Dragon Embroidery Denim…the patches were a big part of her outfit!
• ABS by Allen Schwartz Nicollette Dress…for a sleeker version of her getup

Next up: A bollywood inspired outfit

RTC inspired pieces…,
• C&C California Paisley Maxi Dress
• LinQ Strapless Pintuck Maxi Dress
• LinQ Double Ruffle Layered Skirt

Lastly: The outfit she ended her concert in!

RTC inspired pieces…
• Erik Hart High Waisted Skirt with Belt
• For Joseph ¾ Sleeve collared shirt

And finally here is a pic of her opening act the Pussycat Dolls in their outfits!!

…. Paging Zlush, anyone?

So I hope you guys enjoyed this new blog series I am venturing into. While I did show you the many outfits that the concert had there were plenty more but of course I didn’t want to ruin the whole show for all of you and hopefully you can all catch the last wing of the tour and be in RTC la la land as I was

How to Brand Your Signature Style redtagcrazy.com blog

redtagcrazy.com

current sale alerts blog my account

Fancy clothes and quality threads are important, but in my opinion, they aren’t worth very much if they do not fit with your signature style.

Think of it like this. Take a moment and form a mental picture of what you wore the last time you stepped outside of your house. Got it? Now, picture that image of you, up on a gigantic billboard, advertising a big campaign for the whole world to see. How do you feel? Did that image make you grin and say,mac makeup, “Damn, cheap mac makeup, I’d look hot. I’d buy whatever it is that I’m selling.” Or did you cringe?

You should consider what you wear everyday to be your brand, even when you’re throwing on a casual getup to run to the store (not that this always happens…trust me, I’m with you). But, on most occasions when you want to present a positive image of yourself, all of the subtleties from head to toe should blend together to form one solid image that succinctly represents you. And by doing this, you will have all the confidence in the world, because your clothes and your accessories should feel like second skin.

Consider the branding behind Red Tag Crazy. For example, look at the color scheme. The black, white, hot pinks, and pale blues are consistently represented throughout the web site, so nothing ever looks like it is out of place. When you get your lovely RTC package in the mail, you’ve got a gorgeous black box with your clothes wrapped in that same shade of gorgeous pink and white tissue. All of these elements are reinforced to form one identity that instantly makes you think RTC. This is what you need to be striving for when you get dressed every morning.

The good news is that everyone already has a signature style – for whatever reason, you are drawn to a certain look or a certain color. So focus on what attracts you, and work toward fine-tuning to make sure your accessories all mesh well with that image.

Here are some useful tips to consider when developing your brand:

1. What cuts work best with your body? What can you wear that will accentuate your positives?

2. Go dig through your closet and pull out a selection of colored tops. Stand at the mirror and hold them to your face one by one. Which color makes your eyes pop? Which color makes your skin glow? Which colors make your skin look dull and tired? (Throw those out immediately.)

3. What are you like? Are you serious? Quirky? Trendy? Professional? This is a fun exercise. If you don’t feel awkward doing it, ask a friend to show your picture to one of her friends whom you’ve never met (and she can lie and say it’s for a psych experiment). Have them guess at your personality based on what you’re wearing.

4. If you aren’t sure about what you’re projecting, or you can’t seem to figure out what your signature item is, take an informal survey yourself. Ask your friends and family what piece first comes to mind when they think of your style. Are you happy with that answer? If yes, continue fine-tuning. If no, slowly faze out the problem areas and bring other elements in. If the person stares at you blankly and can’t seem to come up with anything, get crackin’! But whatever you do, don’t do it too quickly or all at once.

5. Not all trends are meant to be. If you really want to work a trend into your style, but it doesn’t work well with your body type, feel free to keep it small. If your signature style has done you well, now is not the time to kick it to the curb. Instead, incorporate some of those key colors or prints into a bracelet, wholesale mac makeup, a scarf, your shoes, or a handbag.

6. Next to quality clothing, accessories will be your best friends, so treat them well. If you choose to wear something basic, let your accessories have the spotlight. If your dress is the focal piece, please don’t make your earrings compete.

7. Signature does not mean boring. You should have a solid foundation that you can adapt to reflect your mood or occasion while still representing your essential self. Really, do you like eating the same thing for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day? Well, your body doesn’t like wearing the same black pants and shirt every day, either. Try to think about what you’re projecting, and make sure that you’re putting that forth through your casuals, formals, and business attire consistently, but spice it up.

8. Do you feel confident? Do you feel good? Stick to the items that make you feel tingly inside… if your outfit doesn’t spark a glow or put the pep in your step, it may not be your look. Strive for that feeling every day.

9. Make sure you can handle your shoes. If you cannot walk in those heels, don’t wear them. You will not be confident, you will not be comfortable, and you will obviously not be strutting. People will be staring at your feet and taking bets on whether or not you’re going to fall instead of admiring your stellar outfit. You can practice in the privacy of your own home and work up to 4-inch heels if you’d like, though.

10. Every once in a while, you should re-brand yourself and refresh your image. You are not the same person you were five years ago, and your image shouldn’t be either. The biggest companies, like Coke and Pepsi, for example, re-evaluate their brands and cans every once in a while. You should, too!

So, next time you get dressed, stop and evaluate. Ask yourself, would someone want to buy me? (I mean that in the most non-prostitutish way possible, of course.)  I hope the answer is yes. You deserve to look and feel stunning, no matter what your style is!

Step Out of the Box by Stepping Into Boxed Wines redtagcrazy.com blog

redtagcrazy.com

current sale alerts blog my account

The wine world is full of new and amazing inventions nearly every day. Necessity breeds it. Not too long ago, it was unacceptable to use machines to do any wine cropping. Australia and other remote countries didn’t have much choice, however, due to lack of harvest labor. So they led the pack in inventions and soon their mechanizations became acceptable around the world, even in traditional areas such as Bordeaux.

Likewise, stelvin caps (the metal twist caps) were invented because a large percentage of corks (made from natural cork) spoiled wine. Though these caps were considered unacceptable when they were first introduced, some of the quality producers are starting to adopt them, particularly for white wines.

And the newest invention that is starting to gain ground? Boxed wines. I know, it’s hard to look at them and not think “swill”. They are typically sold in large volumes, much like those dreaded gallon wines, and the presentation simply doesn’t scream “nice dinner party”. But much like the bulk wines we just discussed, they have their place in the wine world.

First of all, these wines are better for the environment. You can fit more into shipping containers, so less gas is used and fewer emissions are created, and they biodegrade better than glass bottles. Second, because tapping a box doesn’t introduce large amounts of oxygen into the container, the wine lasts longer. This makes them better for those people who like to enjoy a single glass of wine every few days. With glass bottled wine, which usually tastes terrible after being open longer than two days, such habits would lead to large amounts of waste. Not so with boxed wines, cheap mac makeup, which makes them better not only for the consumer’s budget, but for preserving resources.

Granted, boxed wines aren’t made to be cellared for very long, but that’s not a bad thing with table wines, which won’t last more than a couple of years anyway. And boxes are handier for carrying, and can be brought to places glass containers are not allowed. It seems, too, that Europe and Australia are already favoring them for cheaper wines. France is fond of them for their rosés, and Italy recently approved them for use with their wines.

But what about taste? After all, even if it’s cheaper, if you hate it, the savings won’t matter. The bottom line is that boxed wines are not likely to be as high caliber as their $30 bottle counterparts. But as one woman I know put it, they’re ideal when you have a large group of people who are drinking heavily. Once people start to get tipsy, they lose the ability to differentiate flavors. So she starts her party or drinking evening with the nicer bottles, mac makeup wholesale, and then taps the boxes after people can’t tell the difference. Is this rude? Not really. It’s a typical party trick done with bulk wine bottles, wholesale mac makeup, but boxed wine just makes it more economical. Particularly when a box can often contain up to three liters.

As far as quality for everyday purposes, even that is improving. Epicurious recently did an article on their Top 5 Boxed Wine choices. Check it out at http://www.epicurious.com/articlesguides/drinking/wine/top5_boxwines. Some of them might surprise you: A Bordeaux and Vin de Pays d’Oc made the list. Certainly not areas you’d expect to favor this type of packaging. But they did. And as more consumers try boxed wines, the quality will continue to improve. I wouldn’t expect Chateau Lafitte-Rothschild to take the leap. But I predict that at some point in the next ten years you’ll start seeing familiar labels that will chase the word “swill” from your minds.

Gossip Girl style vs. NYC Prep redtagcrazy.com blog

redtagcrazy.com

current sale alerts blog my account

Sophomore year of college I was living in an apartment with only the internet as a form of entertainment while there. Because of this, I caught up on a lot of shows and would watch anything and everything to occupy my time, and put off homework.

One of the shows that really caught my eye was Gossip Girl, but for a very different reason than most other viewers. I was fascinated with the fashion and style of the characters on the show.

New to Bravo is now a show called “NYC Prep“; this is the real life drama of Prep school kids in New York City.  Both of these shows portray a lot of the same styles and are very similar.  I have found Gossip Girl to be just slightly bolder in some of their choices, for example many of the girls wear very bright bold tights to school with equally bright accessories:

Fashion tights are a hot trend, especially for those cold NY winters; but GG has pushed the trend a little too far, in my opinion. There are a couple of other “trends” that GG has pushed to the limit, as well, wholesale mac makeup, but after watching NYC Prep I have seen many similarities in the NYC style.

All of the kids are very well dressed, and although many are 16/17 years old, they are wearing heels, mac makeup wholesale, bright red lipstick, and are overall extremely well dressed (of course having an indispensable source of income from mommy and daddy greatly helps this).

The kids of NYC Prep are up on all of the latest fashion, and at least 50% of the show basically consists of them shopping; even the guys make sure to have the newest and greatest clothes. You will never see these kids in sweat pants, with their hair thrown up and a naked face. (I would not get along well at these schools.)

Overall, mac makeup, there are many similarities in the style of both of these shows; and I love watching to see the clothes, but other than that, I cannot stand the NYC Prep show (a great review I found for all you curious people:  click here … and it’s all so true).

Until next time…

HI ladies; I thought I would write a quick blog, explaining the reason behind my absence these past few days, mac makeup, so here goes:

Thursday morning, my brother was in a pretty serious car accident; he is still in the hospital, but luckily, his injuries are not critical.  The woman he hit is not doing to well; she is in ICU, and they plan to perform surgery on her, just as soon as she is stable enough to safely do so.

My younger sister was voted freshman maid; and the homecoming parade and frestivities were this past Thursday and Friday (great timing, I know). So, I spent my weekend with her, making sure that she had everything she needed, wholesale mac makeup, in order to enjoy this experience as much as possible, considering the circumstances.

I am so sorry for not getting the word out to everyone; it was one of those things that happened so fast, I have barely had time to eat a decent meal this weekend.

For those who are wondering about blog payments; I will be sending in the blog tally to Juan by tomorrow morning, so expect to see that credit as soon as he gets to it, and issues it out.

Others who may have questions about blogging in general, or any other blog related concerns, you can e-mail me at: blogs@redtagcrazy.com and I will get back to you just as soon as I see the e-mail.

As of now, things have calmed down a bit,mac makeup wholesale, so I will be scheduling blogs that are in the drafts, and catching up on some school related things today. If you have any questions or concerns, I will be checking my e-mail periodically!

I hope that you all had a great weekend

I will leave you with these pictures, because I know you are all DIEING to see how beautiful my sister looked in her dress!

(Daddy’s little girls are all grown up! **tear**)

(that last picture of the fireworks is pretty neat, eh? I took that all by myself, with my 300 dollar digital camera!)

How To Know if Your Bra Fits Right! redtagcrazy.com blog

redtagcrazy.com

current sale alerts blog my account

I posted a blog explaining how to measure yourself for a bra. Of course if 70-90% of women are wearing the wrong size bra and it may be because they don’t know they are wearing the wrong size in the first place. You want to be wearing the right size for three reasons; to look amazing, feel comfortable, and belive it or not, for your health. I’m going to give you some pointers to determine if you are wearing the correct size!

If you are wearing the right size bra if can do wonders for you, especially for your health. Having good posture improves your overall appearance and gives you confidence so when you are strutting around in your newest buy from RTC you know how good you look. That being said, the structure and framing of a bra is where all the support comes from, not from the straps. If you are relying on the straps to hold you in and up, the weight from the girls ends up being carried by you shoulders and I know none of you want shoulder and back pain, mac makeup wholesale, and definitely no headaches! Also, make sure to get fitted regularly because your size changes many times throughout your life and things like weight fluctuations, pregnancy and that old hag…age, all are factors in those changes.

There are some good tell-tale signs of the wrong bra size though. For starters, if you are uncomfortable in your bra…that’s a big red flag. Some girls have had the misconception that any bra is going to feel a little weird and it’s something you just get used to. NOT TRUE,mac makeup! If you have the right size and a good quality bra, it makes you feel good, not uncomfortable and with a really great bra, cheap mac makeup, its like its not even there!

Other things to look out for:

If the straps tend to slide off your shoulders or dig into them. If the band cuts into you, or feels too tight. If you have to pull your bra down in the back because it “rides up”. If the wires are uncomfortable or poke into your breasts. If the actual bra cut itself puckers or is wrinkly. If you don’t fit well into the bra, and have tissue that is spilling out of the cups. If the center of the bra doesn’t lay flat up agains your you. (on your breastbone)

If any of these things are happening, you should look into getting another bra as soon as you can. It truly is amazing how much difference it makes (take it from someone who is seeing a chiropractor three times a week and has back issues).

Stay tuned for instruction on how to fix some of those fussy bra issues!

Red Tag Crazy in the News! redtagcrazy.com blog

Sorry guys, mac makeup wholesale, I had to make a quick blog of this, let’s hope they get the link up for the video soon!

Original Link: Red Tag Crazy

magine walking through a mall and there’s only one thing for sale, that’s how Melissa Ingram’s website works.  The founder of www.redtagcrazy.com said it’s all about the here and now.  “It’s only one style of clothing that comes up every hour.  You never know what you are going to see, never know what you are going to miss,” said Ingram.

The website is what’s called an ODAT or “One Deal at a Time” site.  A similar site, www.woot.com sells a variety of items in the same manner, one at a time.  But Red Tag Crazy only deals in women’s fashion.  Most sale items only last for one hour.  You can see how many are available and how long you have to buy them.

“So it’s a pair or jeans one hour, a shirt one hour, wholesale mac makeup, a tank top one hour and maybe a skirt,” said Ingram.  The San Marcos business rotates the items 24 hours a day.  If an item sells out,mac makeup, it’s never seen again.  If it doesn’t sell out it will pop up again, but you never know when.  “That’s the whole point that people stick around for hours waiting to see so they don’t miss it.”

Melissa Ingram purchases the items herself and stores them in the companies warehouse.  They are photographed, put on the website and shipped out, all from the same location.  Lables include Lucky, Paige Premium Denim, LinQ, Rich and Skinny and more.
